Audition Requirements

Undergraduate

For all Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education applicants:

Bassoon, Clarinet, Cello, Double Bass, Euphonium, Flute, French Horn, Harp, Harpsichord, Jazz Studies, Oboe, Organ, Percussion, Piano, Piano Pedagogy, Saxophone, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, Viola, Violin, Voice

A live audition is strongly recommended.  However, you may submit an audio recording by February 1st in lieu of a live audition.  For instructions on how to submit your recording please click here.

Graduate

For all Master of Music and Doctorate of Musical Arts applicants. Prescreening recording required for Conducting, Piano, Voice and select Woodwinds.

Bassoon, Clarinet, Cello, Conducting, Double Bass, Euphonium, Flute, French Horn, Harp, Harpsichord, Jazz Studies, Oboe, Organ, Percussion, Piano, Piano Pedagogy, Saxophone, String Quartet, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, Viola, Violin, Vocal Accompanying and Coaching, Voice

Artist Diploma

Prepare a full-length recital, from which the faculty will select excerpts. Audition will be approximately 20-30 minutes. Prescreening recording required for Voice, Piano, and Woodwinds.
